Goodyear has introduced a new all-terrain tyre to its Cooper Discoverer lineup, named the Cooper Discoverer Stronghold AT.
While Cooper was acquired by Goodyear in 2021, the famous Discoverer tyre has remained in production, this year receiving a new family member in the Discoverer Stronghold AT. This tyre will be available in 28 different sizes, suitable for rims ranging from 16 to 20 inches.
The Stronghold AT is designed to handle a variety of off-road conditions. It features wide, open tread grooves for better performance on soft surfaces, while the narrower centre grooves enhance stability. The tyre also has scooped tread edges and a distinctive sidewall hook pattern. Additionally, ledges between the tread lugs are designed to resist cranking and tearing and to prevent stones from getting lodged.

This tyre has earned the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake designation, indicating that it meets the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for traction in snowy conditions. The textured grooves on the shoulders are designed to provide extra grip in powdery snow.
