Toyota has unveiled its new Hilux special edition – the ‘Invincible 50’ – at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The modified Hilux gains 18-inch tyres on matt black wheels, shod with BF Goodrich all terrain tyres that sit under the matt black wheel arches. The ebony theme continues on the roll bars and side bars, the font under-run, all to offset the silver pain job. The words ‘Invincible’ are emblazoned on the side with a splash of orange underneath as a highlight.
The Hilux also gets a new plastic bed liner with a large tool box at the back of the bed and model-specific scuff plates, floor mats, and even a leather hand brake. Toyota estimates that the new ‘Invincible 50’ special edition push Hilux sales for 2017 to over 40 600 units sold to beat the previous record set in 2007 of 40 104.
Toyota has not yet give pricing or availability details.
