Mobius, Kenya’s contribution to the motoring industry, is launching an all-new model called the Mobius 2.
The new model is meant to be a durable, affordable vehicle for Africa’s mass market. In other words it’s robust enough to handle the worst the roads in Kenya can throw at it.
As you can see from the picture above, it’s quite a basic vehicle. It doesn’t even seem to have windows, but then again, electric windows are just another thing that can go wrong…
The Mobius 2 is powered by a 1,6-litre petrol engine with 64kW on tap. Power is sent to the front wheels only.
The car can carry six passengers and costs the equivalent of around R100 000.
