Land Rover Discovery Landmark Edition celebrates Disco’s 30th birthday

The Land Rover Discovery is celebrating its 30th year of existence this year and to celebrate the occasion, the British manufacturer will be introducing the Discovery Landmark Edition.

This limited edition model will have upgraded standard features and subtle design enhancements.

It’s based on the SE trim as a starting point. Land Rover then adds they Dynamic Pack, which includes a more purposeful front bumper design and Narvik Black mesh grille and fender vents. Narvik Black nameplate scripting on the bonnet and tailgate is also joined by unique Landmark badging on the tailgate.

In addition to that, the exterior also features a fixed panoramic roof, front fog lights and signature tail lights, privacy glass and 20-inch gloss black wheels.

The interior is available with a choice of three premium Windsor leather colourways with contrast piping. A Satin Brushed Aluminium centre console and titanium mesh finishers also set it apart, with the 380W Meridian Sound System, helping to create a truly first-class travel experience.

The Landmark Edition will only be available with the 3.0-litre TD6 engine, good for 190kW and 600Nm of torque. It’s paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Land Rover Discovery Landmark Edition will be available in South Africa in the third quarter of 2019 with pricing to be announced closer to the time.
