Some Londoners were left shocked and panicked after a red London bus exploded on Lambeth Bridge on Sunday morning. There had been detailed letters and signs on the street to warn people of the explosion, which is a stunt for an upcoming film starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan, but clearly some people hadn’t received the warning.
The controlled explosion for a scene in The Foreigner, based on Stephen Leather’s book “The Chinaman”, saw the ripped the bus to pieces and bodies of dummies were sent flying in all directions.
Terrified locals reported what they saw on social media and this prompted local MP Nigel Huddleston to confirm that it was indeed just for the film.
