While South Africa, the rest of BRICS and Australia wait with bated breath for the new Toyota Hilux, Toyota South Africa have packaged a deal to make their high-selling Hilux-based Fortuner even more attractive.
In the months of July, August and September this year, Toyota customers can purchase the Toyota Fortuner Ltd Edition specification on the 3.0 D-4D and 40 V6 variants. Pricing (see details below) varies from R434 700 to R511 700. While nothing in the Ltd Edition is new, the packaged deal at the price is new and very attractive.
Standard features on the Ltd Edition include leather seats, a touch screen audio system, reverse camera monitor, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity, automatic climate control and automatic headlights.
Styling features include a branded “LTD Edition” nudge bar, rear badging and stainless steel side steps, a matte black finish tow bar, rear sill protector and chrome side mirrors. The wheels are swapped out for “smokey grey” 17″ alloys and the carpets with branded “LTD Edition” overlays.
