Celebrating the Scorpio-N claiming the top spot in the Adventure SUV category at the 2024 South African Car of the Year awards and other milestones, such as the brand’s 20th year on local shores, Mahindra has introduced a special edition — dubbed the Adventure — to its Scorpio-N line-up.

According to the automaker, this new derivative “amplifies” the “impressive” off-road capabilities of the standard variant with the addition of several 4×4-focused elements. The latter includes “made-for-purpose” front and rear bumpers, “special” off-road tyres, and underbody protection. In addition, this variant’s suspension set-up has been raised for increased ground clearance. The Scorpio-N Adventure further features “special” roof rack, fashioned from machined steel, and a roof-mounted shelf, sited inside the luggage compartment.
The Scorpio-N Adventure employs Mahindra’s 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. As a reminder, the four-cylinder oil-burner churns out 129 kW and 400 N.m of torque, the latter of which is available from 1 750 r/min to 2 750 r/min. The powertrain is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission, replete with a low-range transfer case.
