The Mercedes-Benz ML 250 BlueTec was recently voted an Autotest Environmental Champion.

It took the top spot for SUVs in the environmental ranking, which the Autotest product-testing magazine of the German AutoBild Group carries out annually together with the ÖKO Trend institute for environmental research.

The ML 250 BlueTEC uses only 5,8 l/100 km according to the NEDC (154 g CO2/km) and with its standard 70-litre tank it is able to cover around 1200 kilometres without a refill. When fitted with the optional 93-litre tank, it even manages a stretch of up to 1600 kilometres between filling stations.
