Mitsubishi Motors is set to unveil its heavily modified Mitsubishi Triton Halo AT35 prototype at this year’s Nampo Harvest Day.
Developed in partnership with Arctic Trucks – a brand known for their resilient vehicles being able to withstand the harshest Icelandic conditions – the prototype caters to off-road enthusiasts in South Africa and is backed by Mitsubishi’s full factory warranty.
The Triton Halo AT35 will be a one-of-a-kind product in the South African market, based on the flagship Triton double cab 4×4. The unique truck boasts a substantial makeover, including a 35mm ride height increase, suspension lift, 17-inch BF Goodrich off-road tyres, wider track, and Arctic Truck alloy wheels. The exterior has been enhanced with a new front bumper, extended wheel arches, wider fender liners, a snorkel for improved engine performance in dusty conditions, and a roof rack equipped with a high lift jack and spade.
Inside, the vehicle comes with Ralliart accessories, a rubberised load bin with Keko Style Bar and Tonneau cover, and an upgraded seven-inch Sony Display Audio system. The leather seats feature custom stitching.
