
The highly anticipated Defender OCTA is set to make its global debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from 11-14 July.
This new high-performance, V8 twin turbo-powered vehicle is the fastest Defender to tackle the famous hillclimb on the Duke of Richmond’s estate in West Sussex. Visitors can witness its impressive all-terrain performance, that utlises Land Rover’s new 6D Dynamics suspension technology.

In addition to the Defender OCTA, the event will showcase the full Range Rover line-up, including the exclusive Range Rover SV Burford Edition and the high-performance Range Rover Sport SV. The Range Rover stand will offer a tranquil setting, highlighting vehicles such as the Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Evoque, and an original 1970 Range Rover.
Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the Discovery brand will present various models, including the Discovery and Discovery Sport, alongside the original 1989 Discovery. The Discovery area promises a family-friendly atmosphere.
Jaguar, celebrating 75 years of sports cars and 90 years of design and innovation, will also have a significant presence. The Jaguar display will feature an immersive film on the brand’s history and showcase the restored and uprated E-type ZP Editions, as well as the 1988 Le Mans-winning XJR-9 LM. Additionally, Jaguar TCS Racing will run an all-electric Formula E racecar on the hillclimb, ahead of the series’ London finale in late July.
Goodwood attendees can also engage with the Defender off-road experience, offering an exciting, gravity-defying ride on a purpose-built obstacle course. Mini-Defender ride-on experiences will be available for younger guests, ensuring an engaging experience for all ages.
