Polaris to make cheap 4x4s for India

By: CAR magazine

Here’s a novel idea for producing cheap as chips vehicles for the masses.

Polaris India and Eicher Motors has formed a joint venture to convert Polaris lifestyle products into roadworthy vehicles.

To do this, Polaris needs to tune the engines to conform to emissions regulations and attach new wheels and indicators.

According to Polaris, these vehicles will be very capable off-road.

The first vehicle to be converted is the Polaris Ranger. As you can see from the image above, it looks quite mean and one can’t help but notice those chunky tyres.

Perhaps Polaris should try the same thing here in Africa.
