Ripsaw introduces EV2 civilian tank [w/video]

By: CAR magazine

Have you always wanted a tank you could use every day?

Well, a company called Ripsaw has the answer. It’s called the EV2 and it’s basically a road-going tank with a traditional car-like steering wheel and throttle.

It’s powered by a 450kW turbocharged diesel engine, so it should at least be able to keep up with traffic…

As for the interior, we don’t really know much, except that it’s supposed to be luxurious. Ripsaw says that it’s a “handcrafted, limited run, high end luxury super tank, developed for the public and extreme off road recreation”.

It takes around six months to build and the cost is pretty much up to the owner, as is the case with most of these hand-build machines.

Check out a video of the EV2’s abilities below.
