GWM is celebrating a decade in South Africa by reducing the price of its Steed 5 Single Cab 2.0 WGT 4X2 Workhorse, which was already the cheapest turbodiesel bakkie in SA.
The two-litre turbodiesel delivers 78kW of power and 225Nm of torque and comes standard with air-conditioning and rake-adjustable steering and fog lamps in the fornt and the rear.
The 10th anniversary special price is R179 900, which is R20 000 less than the regular price of R199 900.
GWM (now trading as Haval Motors South Arica) offers a three-year/100 000 km warranty is also included and an optional service plan. However, take note that this particular variant doesn’t have airbags or come with ABS or EBD (the GWM Steed 5 2.2 single and double cab Safety models offer these features).
The brand is the offering similar discounts on other derivatives, such as the Steed 5 2.2 MPI 4×2 Workhorse that is selling for R149 900 (R15 000 cheaper than the regular price).
The company has not indicated how long these discounts will be available for.
