Late last week we reported on Tata’s compact crossover Nexon concept, which made its debut at the Auto Expo in India.
A week ago Tata didn’t supply much information to go with the actual reveal, but it has now made the basic specifications and figures available to the public.
The Nexon uses a technologically advanced three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine with 80kW and 170Nm of torque. This tiny, but powerful engine is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Tata claims a combined consumption figure of 5,7 l/100km is possible.
