The Indian motoring firm, Tata, has revealed a 4×4 version of the Xenon pickup at Australia’s National 4×4 and Outdoors Show and Fishing and Boating Expo this weekend, the aptly named Tuff Truck.
The design is specifically aimed at taking on that harsh Australian landscape. Tata has taken their Xenon crew cab and modified it with an array off-road accessories, including a snorkel, a roof bar with LED lights, a winch and skid plates on both ends. The engine, however, has not been modified. The Tuff Truck is powered by the Xenon’s standard 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine with 5-gear manual transmission and 148 horsepower.
Unfortunately, the Tuff Truck is not scheduled for production.
