Tesla’s famous CEO, Elon Musk, recently stated in a tweet that the long-awaited pickup truck will likely make its debut in two to three months.
The fact that Tesla is working on a pickup is no secret. Ever since the rumours started, Musk has been tweeting small pieces of information regarding its abilities.
From what we know so far, the Tesla pickup’s design will be completely different from other Tesla models. It will also retail for less than R800 000 and Tesla claims it will handle like a Porsche 911.
Other than those bold claims, the pickup will offer seating for six and a range of between 645km and 800km.
As for Tesla’s rumoured presence in South Africa, there have been no confirmations yet, but it would be an epic car to have here.
