Kingsley Re-Engineered’s new reimagined classic Land Rover Defender was “crafted with a passion for precision”. The “definitive” variant in the company’s re-engineered Defender model line-up, with its box-fresh offering, the firm says it has entered a new era of bespoke builds, “transforming” automotive heritage for the next generation.
“Emphasising performance and driving experience, while retaining the characteristics so favoured by city dwellers, country estate lovers and beachgoers, the Kingsley Defender merges yesterday’s masterpiece with today’s and tomorrow’s know-how to create the definitive variant,” said the British brand.

In addition, the Oxfordshire-based company’s latest Defender was built to celebrate classic Defender ownership. Available in both 90 and 110 body styles, the new Defender by Kingsley is available with a selection of personalisation options, including for the exterior and interior and, notably, engine.
Starting with the latter, as standard, the new version employs a 4.2-litre V8, churning out 164 kW and 360 N.m of torque, the latter available from 3 250 r/min. However, customers have the option of specifying their model with a Chevrolet LS3/LT1 V8. Four- and eight-speed automatic transmission are also available. Continuing with the under-the-skin upgrades, Kingsley Re-Engineered has updated the suspension and braking systems.
Each model can be had with a range of bespoke exterior colour options, while the interior is available with an array of distinctive trim, including “Spinneybeck” leather weave seat centres. The instrument cluster incorporated wireless screen mirroring.
