Toyota in Japan has introduced its all-new Harrier, based on the latest RAV4.
While it may look more like a Lexus, it definitely has more in common with the RAV4.

It shares the same suspension setup and powertrains. This includes a naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre petrol in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, as well as a 2.5-litre four-cylinder mated to an 88kW electric motor. The all-wheel-drive hybrid is also equipped with another 40kW electric motor on the rear axle. Both models are equipped with a CVT transmission.
The interior features some RAV4 design characteristics, but it is more upmarket. There’s a 12.3-inch touch-screen, leather and wood. It takes a more traditional approach to luxury than the RAV4.
The Harrier is also equipped with Toyota’s latest suite of advanced safety technology.
