Volkswagen South Africa has released the pricing for their much anticipated T-Roc compact crossover. It’s not available to drive just yet, though order books are open with first deliveries expected in November 2020.

Based on the Golf platform the T-Roc completes the T-Series line-up in South Africa, starting with the T-Cross, the all-new T-Roc, the Tiguan family, and finally the Touareg.

The T-Cross managed to fill order books at lightning speed between pricing announcement and model delivery. The T-Roc should keep current Golf drivers who want to upgrade to something bigger in the VW stable, and will undoubtedly steal customers from competing brands. It’s going to be a bun fight in the compact crossover/SUV segment come November 2020. We have no doubt that the T-Roc orders will outdo the performance of the T-Cross pre-orders.

The T-Roc, which will go on sale from November 2020, will be available in the following derivatives;

• 1.4 TSI 110kW Design
• 2.0 TSI 140kW 4MOTION® DSG® Design
• top-of-the-range 2.0 TSI 140kW 4MOTION® DSG® R-Line

The Volkswagen T-Roc comes standard with a 3-year/120 000km warranty, 5-year/ 90 000km Volkswagen Service Plan and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty. The service interval is 15 000km.
