Every year the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) partners with Mitsubishi and offers contestants the chance to win two brand-new vehicles, this year a Pajero Sport 2.4-litre 8-speed Auto 4×4 and the ASX 2.0-litre are on offer, together valued at over R850 000.

The car competition was first launched in 1997 and remains the NSRI’s flagship fundraiser. Your once-off donation of R750 will get you a ticket to enter the Double Mitsubishi Prize Draw. Tickets are limited to 36 000 so you have an excellent chance of winning and you may take as many tickets as you wish.

FIRST PRIZE: Two Mitsubishi vehicles: A Pajero Sport 2.4 8-speed Auto 4×4 and the ASX 2.0, both vehicles valued at over R850 000.

SECOND PRIZE: R250 000 – a quarter of a million rand.

THIRD PRIZE: Your dream trip to the value of R80 000.

While the closing date for final tickets into the draw is 11 December, there is also a mid-year draw to select one of three finalists. All tickets purchased before 31 July qualify so the chances at this time are even better.

The NSRI works tirelessly to save lives on both inland and coastal waters. As a non-profit organisation staffed by volunteers, they rely heavily on fundraising initiatives.
