Stop what you’re doing, plug in your headphones and turn up the volume.
This is Jaguar’s Project 7 roadster, set to make its debut at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Built to celebrate Jaguar’s seven Le Mans victories (1951 – 1990) the aluminum-bodied single-seater is powered by the company’s 5,0-litre V8 supercharged engine producing 405 kW and 680 N.m of torque. It has a claimed 0-100 km/h spring time of just 4,2-seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h.
More important than how fast it is though is just how glorious it sounds!
According to Global Brand Director Adrian Hallmark, “Jaguar’s sporting bloodline and innovative ambition are perfectly embodied by Project 7, both through its sensual design, and its shattering performance. Project 7’s Goodwood debut will provide a great stage to showcase the creativity of our design and engineering teams.”
