Toyota is at it again. Over the course of the next three months, Hilux Dakar Editions of the single, double and Extra Cab derivatives will become available.
The last time Toyota offered these editions was last year from August to October. This time these bakkies will again be available for a three-month period.
As was the case last year, the Dakar Edition offers an appealing set of upgrades. Outside there is a nudge and roll-over bar, side steps, rear step-bumper. The latter incorporates an integrated tow bar.
The wheels come in grey and measure 17 inches, while the loading bay is covered by a tonneau cover. Luxury items include a rear-view camera for all 3,0- and 4,0-litre double and Extra Cab variants. Inside the seats and door cards are trimmed in black leather with red stitching.
