Opel has added another model derivative to its Adam range, bringing the total to four. Apart from the entry-level 1,4, the two 1,0-litre turbo models, the Adam Rocks offers a different proposition than these three models.
The new Rocks offers the same features and accessories as the Adam Glam, but includes notable new features such as the canvas roof, an increased body height and anthracite protective cladding.
The Adam Rocks rides 15 mm higher than the standard car, offering a different stance compared to the standard car, which also offers better visibility from the cabin. Powering the front wheels is the same engine as used in the other Adam models as well as the Opel Corsa. The 1,0-litre turbopetrol develops 85 kW and 170 N.m.
The car can be ordered in three different colours, called Red ‘n Roll, Saturday White Fever and Goldbuster. To add a level of exclusivity to the Adam Rocks, General Motors South Africa will only offer 150 units.
Priced from R273 400, the Rocks comes with Opel’s 3-years/60 000 km service plan.
