Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has introduced a special edition model to its Amarok range. Based on the range-topping 2,0 BiTDI 132kW 4Motion Highline with 8-speed Automatic transmission, the VW Amarok Ultimate is the first bakkie in the local market with Bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights.
In addition to the uprated lighting package, VW Amarok Ultimate also sports a number of model-specific cosmetic features. These include silver wing mirror covers, darkened rear lights with LED number plate illumination, polished 19-inch ‘Cantera’ alloy wheels, ‘Ultimate’ badging, a silver-coloured design underbody guard and a styling bar as well as sill sidebars in chrome.
The VW Amarok Ultimate also comes with Park Distance Control with Rear Assist reversing camera, electric folding and heated wing mirrors, heated front seats in either Vienna or Alcantara leather, RCD 510 Radio/CD system with mobile phone preparation, rain sensor with intermittent wipers, auto diming rear view mirror and special velour floor mats as standard.
The Amarok Ultimate retails for R600 200 (VAT Included).
