The biennial CAR Conference took place at the Kyalami Grand Prix circuit as part of the South African Festival of Motoring last week.
A number of influential keynote speakers provided attendees with insight into everything from the future of the local automotive industry to the digital revolution and how it is causing major disruption in the automotive sector.
The speaker line-up included Nissan SA MD Mike Whitfield, Frost & Sullivan’s Martyn Briggs, Mann Made Media co-founder Shayne Mann, Sasol’s Adrian Velaers, WesBank CEO Chris de Kock, FNB chief economist Sizwe Nxedlana, and communications expert Dave Duarte.
