Maserati’s GranCabrio has been in production for quite some time now, but that hasn’t stopped Pogea Racing from lightly fettling the car’s Ferrari-sourced 4,7-litre V8. Yes, the tuning firm has taken a fairly subtle approach to refining this open-top cruiser, adding a little more oomph and making some aesthetic upgrades.
A new engine management system has been installed to push peak outputs up from the stock 338 kW and 520 N.m to 356 kW and 533 N.m, and is accompanied by a sports air filter. Pogea Racing claims this small change in power increases the GranCabriolet’s top speed from 288 km/h to 305 km/h.
The company has also fitted a set of 21-inch “Jules” forged alloy wheels wrapped in a set of 245/30 front and 325/25 rear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres. Accompanying this wheel configuration is a 40 mm drop in ride height courtesy of a set of coilovers.
As for the interior, Pogea Racing says it offers custom detailing using materials such as carbon-fibre and leather.
