Volvo’s performance EV arm has revealed a comprehensive performance pack for its Polestar 2 crossover. Given that the car’s electric drivetrain develops 300 kW and 660 N.m out of the box, Polestar believes these extra features will make the 2’s driving experience even more rewarding.
With this pack, the Polestar 2’s chassis will benefit from a 4-piston Brembo front brake setup, adjustable Öhlins dampers and 20-inch forged alloy wheels. Cosmetic touches are limited to some gold seatbelts and valve caps.
“We spent a lot of time obsessing over the finest details of the Performance Pack chassis set-up to find the car’s sweet spot; we call it the “Golden Ride”. Comfortable but focused, we want you to feel positively connected to the road, the car alive and communicative, but balanced and predictable. It really is unlike most electric cars. It feels distinctly Polestar.” says Polestar chassis development head Joakim Rydholm.
