The T7 Multivan, based on the MQB-Evo platform, is a stark departure from its predecessors, with VW focusing on more futuristic designs even for their historic best-sellers and iconic models. Delta4x4, however, have plans to turn the people-mover into the ultimate off-road Volkswagen. With parts available during the second half of 2022, they have been unveiled in a digital rendering and the result is something quite spectacular if you’re the sort of person who loves a spot of adventuring here and there.
Bilstein dampers and Eibach suspension combine to give the Delta4x4 T7 40 mm more ground clearance than standard, sitting on either 18-inch wheels or larger 20-inchers with a Beadlock rim and 275 section tyres. Thanks to wider fenders, the wheel arches are able to accommodate anything from 17-icnh to 22-inch rims.
Up front, the Delta4x4 T7 features a stainless-steel bull-bar with additional PIAA lamps which can be attached to a newly developed roof rack, too. The rearmost side widows can be replaced, too, by a carrier system to which items can be attached. In terms of the powertrain, Delta4x4 leaves the engine untouched but does offer a sports exhaust system for some aural drama if the customer so wishes. IN terms of powertrain options, two petrol, one diesel and a plug-in hybrid are offered.
Delta4x4 have not yet offered pricing for their components and locally, there’s no news yet on when the T7 Multivan will be available on local shores, however if this capable and cool people carrier is something that interests you, Delta4x4 offer a range of accessories for the T6 generation Kombi/Caravelle.
