Volvo’s recent new product offensive is paying dividends with the Swedish brand reporting strong growth over the past year.

Having maintained strong sales through November 2019, Volvo confirmed that volumes are up by 11,6 percent compared with last year. Since January, the brand has moved 631 213 units, an increase of 8,4 percent over 2018’s sales. The brand’s best-selling car has been the XC60, followed by the XC40 and XC90. The V60 estate and S60 sedan are also notable contributors.

In Europe, Volvo experienced a growth of 6,2 percent over the first eleven months compared with 2018, with Germany and the UK being major contributors. There’s also been a notable 16,3 percent increase in Volvo sales in China where the XC60, S90 and XC40 are also built. The US also saw an increase in sales of 7,2 percent.
