The smart has never been a top seller in South Africa. This is not surprising; the car is designed for cities like Rome, where parking is harder to find than prime ministers who aren’t into young women. But it is really a fun car, which is why we decided to give it pride of place in this section of WOW anyway. And the latest derivative of the smart fortwo, which made its debut in South Africa earlier this year, is even better than ever before: it has a fresh interior look, an upgraded exterior and greener engines.
