No sooner had the 2013 South African National Circuit racing series drawn to a close, we already have the 2013 calendar. Big news for the new year is that Wesbank has pulled the plug on its naming rights from the series altogether. For purposes of television coverage a new title sponsor will be needed but none have yet stepped up to the plate.
The 2013 Super Series will take place over nine rounds, as it did in 2012, commencing at ending at Kyalami. The mid-season event location has yet to be decided but will in all likelihood take place on the streets of Durban like it did last year.
Spectators at these events can expect to see the same classes that they watched last year including the Bridgestone Production Cars, V8 Supercars, SA Single Seaters, Engen VW Cup and the two-wheel brigade of 600- and 1 000 cm3 -powered bikes.
