Diarise this date: Sunday 12 December 2010, from 10am to 1 pm.
Hot on the heels of the biggest gathering of motorcycles in Cape Town (the Toy Run) this inaugural and, in future, annual Cape Town motorcycle show will display old as well as brand new motorcycles. There will be food and beverage stalls, motorcycle-related stalls, a jumping castle and play area for the kids and security controlled parking. Entry is R20 for adults and R5 for children aged 3 to 12.
As usual, when bikers get together there’s a charity involved and this one is for Living Way, a non-profit organisation that provides training to help people get out of poverty and gain dignity and a chance of supporting themselves as well as others.
The show will be held at the Living Way campus is, right where the inhabitants that benefit from this charity organisation, live, at Masiphumele, Noordhoek. Travel from the four-way intersection at the bottom of Ou Kaapse Weg towards Kommetjie and it’s on the right in Chasmay road. For more info on Living Way, see Livingway.co.za as well as the umbrella organisation, Livinghope.co.za.
So don’t put that dust sheet over your bike now that the Toy Run is past, get there on the 12th December and support an extremely worthy cause!
