"Dash for Cash" Thunderbike Racing returns to Zwartkops Raceway on Saturday, 14 June, with an all out dash for the line.
See Sheridan Morais, Doug Lange, Mike Dickinson and Willem Jansen van Rensburg thunder against twenty like-minded chargers, the making of one of the most exciting motorcycle events one can imagine.
High up on the program is the Bavarian Motorcycles "S" Cup. These mighty BMW Twins are super-fast motorcycles, with entries from Cape Town and Natal also confirmed. Some 18 will be on the line. Sadly missing on Saturday is Lance Isaacs, who is challenging for honours in the World Series, riding the BMW Twin, but the home race should be equally as exciting.
The race program also includes 50cc motorcycles, Breakfast Run Challenge and not to be missed the Super Motard bikes, which will race on the 1000 metre Bridgestone Firestone Kart Circuit.
The day ends with a two-rider one-hour endurance for all classes.
Included in the program will be four open practice sessions for bikers who have entered the forthcoming event at Zwartkops on 21 June.
Racing this Saturday commences at 11h00. Entrance is R30 per person, children under 13 free. The entrance fee for the bikers who are practicing for the 21 June event will be refunded.
