Attempting a crowd-pleasing burnout on a clearly wet surface, Kobayashi loses control of his Ferrari before heading nose first into the safety barrier. Clearly embarrassed by the incident, rather than wait for the recovery crews, the Japanese driver does a three-wheeled walk-of-shame back to the pits .
