Audi No. 1 – Chequered Flag – 24 Hours of Le Mans by fiawec
This year’s Le Mans 24-hour endurance race threw up a few curve balls, as is always the case with this legendary race.
As the cars are getting so advanced, technical difficulties were part of the challenge as was the rain that came down which resulted in a few cars crashing out. However, overall we saw some spectacular racing in all the respective classes while Audi as a team did an inspiring job by taking the chequered flag (for the 13th time), as well as second place.
Porsche did all it could with its new LMP1 cars but unfortunately both cars retired before the end of the race.
