Lewis Hamilton’s Jerez Testing Crash Accidentally Filmed [video]

A day that began with Mercedes F1 unveiling one of the better looking interpretations of the 2014 Formula One rules determining the shape of the new turbocharged V6 cars ended in fairly dramatic fashion when the brand-new nose on Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes W05 inexplicably fell off as he entered the first corner.

As luck would have it Spanish television station Antena 3 were filming an insert on the very same corner and managed capture footage of the very first accident of the 2014 Formula One season.

Hamilton was unharmed.
