With the 2013 International V8 Supercars Championship set to kick-off in Adelaide on 28 February many of the teams, including the new Nissan and Mercedes-Benz crews, took advantage of a recent test day in order to make any final adjustments ahead of the 14 round championship. One additional non-championship round will be held at the Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit in support of the 2013 Australian Grand Prix.
A recent rule change to the championship has seen manufacturers Nissan and Mercedes-Benz enter race-ready Altima and E63 AMG models respectively. Long-standing Aussie V8 contenders Holden will also compete with the new VF Commodore, replacing the VE Commodore.
