On the invitation of Travis Pastrana, all-round motorsports hero in the US, the Frenchman entered his first competitive event in North America and comfortably won his heat. He also took the lead early on over the rest of the field in the final, which including Internet sensation/entrepreneur Ken Block and drift champion/X Games legend Tanner Foust, and never looked back as he cruised to a massive win.
