David Measell probably didn’t want to wheelie while drag racing, which is why he chose four wheels instead of two. But seemingly his 2 000 bhp (1 500 kW) Mustang had other ideas.
Just after take-off (no pun intended) when Measell injected a shot of Nitrous Oxide the Mustang’s front, then rear wheels left the ground completely leaving the driver with a clear view of just the sky. Despite his wild ride he seemed pretty calm after the spectacular run.
