German tuner Lumma Design has revealed its take on the Mercedes-AMG G63, handing the hottest version of the Geländewagen a bold styling package, a total of six exhaust pipes and a little more power.

The Lumma CLR G770 upgrade includes various bodywork components fashioned mainly from reaction injection moulded (RIM) polyurethane, but also available in a carbon-fibre finish.

The Winterlingen-based firm says the exterior additions include new front and rear aprons, extended wheel arches, chunkier side skirts, a rear spoiler and a new rear diffusor.

Meanwhile, new roof panels up front accommodate four lighting elements, while a bonnet attachment, grille frame, spare wheel cover and carbon-fibre side-mirror caps further set this model apart. Oh, and then there are those six side-exit exhaust pipes, up from the standard model’s four.

With the fenders extended by some 40 mm, of course, there’s space for wider 24-inch alloy wheels. The lightweight items feature a Y-spoke design and are wrapped in 295/30 R24 tyres at the front and 355/25 R24 rubber at the rear.

So, what’s happening under the bonnet? Well, Lumma Design has beefed up Affalterbach’s twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8, raising its peak outputs from the stock 430 kW and 850 N.m to 478 kW and 950 N.m…
