Yes, the new Land Rover Defender is on its way but if you still appreciate the outgoing model’s charm, you’ll no doubt enjoy Overfinch’s latest creation.

Based on an open-top Defender 90, the reimagined model receives added luxuries such as a bespoke interior with a range of high-end accessories.

Buyers get to choose their exterior colour and alloy wheels, while handmade bonnet lettering is also offered. The cabin receives a new set of bucket seats upholstered in luxurious leather, with either colour-coded or contrasting piping and stitching.

Accessories include luxuries such as a premium steering wheel, gear and drive selector, plus plush carpets and a bespoke rear load deck finished in high-end wood. Amenities such as navigation, Apple CarPlay and a reversing cameras are also included.

Under the bonnet you’ll find a 6,2-litre V8 sourced from Chevrolet. This sends power to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Overfinch states this customisation is designed for both left- and right-hand-drive models and that it will provide its services (including sourcing a base vehicle) to every global region.
