Overfinch reveals its (super-plush!) take on the flagship Range Rover…

Overfinch has revealed its take on the flagship of the Range Rover line-up, handing choice upgrades to the British brand’s 5,0-litre V8 supercharged variants.

Dubbed the Overfinch Velocity, the upgraded Range Rover features a blacked-out colour scheme and some fresh body panels.

Painted in a Satin Obsidian hue, the Velocity gains new front and rear bumpers, revised side-skirts and a new “powerdome” bonnet. The bonnet, grille, rear spoiler and air dams are finished in herringbone-weave carbon-fibre, while the 23-inch Cyclone alloy wheels come in gloss black (although can also be ordered in shadow black, diamond-turned or bespoke colours).

The supercharged 5,0-litre V8 is unchanged although Overfinch does offer a performance exhaust system to enhance the aural character of the engine.

As for the cabin, the company has fitted the Range Rover with a bespoke Ebony Lumière interior in full ebony leather with a hexagonal quilt and contrast Cirrus stitching (although Overfinch says it’ll customise the cabin to the buyer’s specifications). The floor mats, meanwhile, are offered in lambswool.

Just 10 units will be produced, each at a price of $315 000 (that’s around R4 650 000).
