Bugatti has sold the 400th Veyron since the model’s introduction in 2005. This means that only 50 vehicles of the total production of 450 remain. Of the 400, 300 were coupes and 100 roadsters. The remaining 50 Veyrons will be drop-tops.
The 400th Veyron is a (deep breath) 882 kW/1 500 N.m Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Jean-Pierre Wimille Edition that sold to a Middle Eastern buyer for 2,13 million euro (or roughly R30 million). The car is named for a Bugatti racing driver of the early-to-mid-1900s.
