These latest spy pictures of Audi’s upcoming, new, Q7 have surfaced on the Internet.
Most of cladding that usually covers these test mules has been dropped on this specific vehicle, which gives us a pretty good idea about the exterior design of the new SUV.
Up front the Q7 has gained the headlight design first seen on the new Audi TT. At the rear the Q7 receives the square(ish) design theme, similar to that of the Audi A8 flagship.
The new car could be offered with Audi’s optional matrix LED headlights while sources suggest that car will be significantly lighter compared to the current generation. It is said to loose a chunky 350 kg!
The interior will benefit from the same updates we have seen on the latest products from Audi, which means it could share instruments and technology similar to that in the Audi A7 and A8.
Power will be supplied by a mixture of six- and eight-cylinder engines, and there are even rumours of a possible SQ7 and a plug-in hybrid.
With the Detroit Auto Show (also known as NAIAS) taking place in January 2015, Audi might decide to unveil its latest SUV at this event.
