“CAR was selected because of its compatibility with Autolocator’s target market,” said Autolocator’s managing director, Mike von Höne. “CAR offers the ideal distribution coverage to achieve a maximum reach within the SA motoring industry.
As CARtoday.com reported recently, the listings in the Autolocator Classifieds are broken down by province, detailing each vehicle’s make and model, colour, mileage, year and price, so that it works as a quick reference guide. Each entry has a reference number, which prospective buyers quote when they call the Autolocator hotline.
“We will check the availability of the vehicle and arrange for the dealer to contact the customer,” said Von Höne. “If that vehicle had been sold, we would attempt to source an equivalent vehicle on the buyer’s behalf.”
