In its fourth year, the Motorcycle Lifestyle Expo will be held at Kyalami from April 24 to 25 and will give the public an opportunity to test all of the latest motorcycle models on the international race circuit.
Brands on display will include Honda, Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, KTM, Aprilia, Bombardier and Polaris.
The Hyper Super Bikes expo is expected to be of great interest with the Yamaha R1, Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, Kawasaki ZX10, Suzuki GSXR1000, Ducati 999 and Aprilia RSV1000 R Factory all being displayed.
At the BMW stand the R1200GS, which is not available to the public yet and will only be launched later this year, will be showcased, allowing many their first opportunity to see this motorcycle in the flesh.
The facelifted version of BMW’s popular F650 GS and F650 GS Dakar, which has just been launched in South Africa, will also be on display.
The importer and distributor of the Polaris quads in South Africa will launch an alternative quad named the Linhai-Rustler at the show, while Moto Guzzi will display its new Breva 750 which is targeted specifically at the entry level and female buyer.
On display will be the latest versions of the Suzuki GSXR600 and GSXR750, which have both been greatly revamped for this year.
Yamaha will introduce a revised line of quads while the importer and distributor of the Bombardier quads, Waterworld, have just re-launched the ADLY range of quads.
The biggest show thus far, the exhibitor area shows an increased number of bike tour operators, lifestyle products and accessory merchants to display the latest rider gear on offer.
The track riding event will also afford some the opportunity to test a number of the vehicles on a race circuit.
