Opel, Chevrolet, Isuzu, Suzuki and Saab will from April 1 have a new “voice” following Tim Hendon’s appointment as the brands’ manager of product communications.
Recently GMSA’s corporate and product communication departments were merged into one communication department under the guidance of Denise van Huysteen. Hendon, who has previously served as regional manager and advertising manager, will report to van Huysteen.
With a background in Human Resources, Manufacturing, and Sales and Marketing, in his new position Hendon will be required to work closely with the sales and marketing team.
In addition, Shaun Gillham will be reporting to Hendon from April 1 after his appointment as product communications officer. An experienced journalist, Gillham joined GMSA in 2000, whereafter he became media liaison for Chevrolet South Africa.
