General Motors South Africa has released a new model in the Opel Corsa range that replaces the 1,4 Sport 3-door model and offers a new level of sporting credibility for those opting for the base engine.
What sets the new Corsa Colour Edition apart is the new options for exterior paint, which consists of Sunny Melon, Magma Red, Oriental Blue, Casablanca White and Black Sapphire. The bright hues are offset by dark tint windows, a gloss-finish black roof, and a choice of black or silver 17-inch alloys wrapped in 215/45 R17 tyres.
The Corsa Colour Edition is powered by GM’s aforementioned normally-aspirated 1,4-litre four-cylinder unit, which produces 74 kW at 6 000 r/min and 130 N.m of torque at 4 000 r/min, and is mated with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The extroverted exterior theme is continued inside the Corsa Colour Edition, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport seats with colour-coded stitching and colour-coded air ventilation rings, as well as alloy pedals.
Standard features on this model include power steeing, air conditioning, Radio/MP3, ABS with EBD, front electric windows, front fog lamps and remote central locking.
