The latest to do so is DaimlerChrysler South Africa, which is offering free insurance, for one calendar year, on any new PT Cruiser or Neon purchased between 1 June and 31 August 2003.

The insurance plan is offered through Chrysler Finance, a division of DaimlerChrysler Services, DCSA’s financial services arm. The fully comprehensive Chrysler Insurance policy, although subject to normal insurance terms and conditions, is offered at no extra cost to the customer.
In April, DaimlerChrysler introduced a three-year/ 60 000km scheduled services plan on all Chrysler and Jeep vehicles.
The maintenance plan covers all scheduled services during the period at no charge to the customer.
