Mercedes-Benz’ SL65 AMG roadster will not exist in the future SL line-up. This is a result of a decision made by the German manufacturer to discontinue its V12 engine – in the SL range, at least. The new SL will debut within the next year.
If you want to get your hands on an SL65 AMG before it’s phased out, the current model retails for just short of R2,5 million. It has a maximum power output of 450 kW at 4 800 r/min and a torque figure of a whopping 1 000 N.m at 2 000 r/min.
